1 SOUND has announced the debut of the WSUB45i, a new installation version of the company’s WSUB45 subwoofer sharing the same sonic performance and compact footprint but with the addition of two French cleats on the rear of the enclosure for flush mounting to walls both vertically and horizontally.
Components include four 5-inch low frequency drivers joined by a 10-inch passive radiator that work together to deliver fast-responding, deep low-frequency output from a small and unique form factor.
Maximum SPL is stated as 123 dB and bandwidth that extends down to 39 Hz. The passive enclosure has stated power handling of 900 watts (continuous) and 450 watts (AES).
The WSUB45i is also supplied with an additional solid aluminum French cleat for more wall-mounting options, and there are also 12 M6 points. The Finland birch ply cabinet measures 11.7 x 6.6 x 23.5 inches and weighs 25.1 pounds.
