On Thursday, December 5, 2019 (7:30 pm–10 pm MST), Waves Audio will be hosting a masterclass event, “From the Mix to the Master,” at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) in Gilbert, AZ. The session will present a full walkthrough of a song from recording session through to mixing and mastering.

The evening will be opened by Waves’ own Michael Pearson-Adams (Creed, Shakira, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page), mix engineer and director of training, taking attendees through a recording and mix session that he will be prepping for mastering.
Noted mastering engineer and Waves artist Piper Payne (Third Eye Blind, Madame Gandhi), based out of Nashville, will then go through Pearson-Adams’ mix and explain the good, the bad and the ugly, to provide deeper knowledge of how to best prepare music for the final mastering stage, and ultimately, release.
Refreshments will be served from 7 pm, with the event beginning at 7.30 pm. Parking is available on campus.
