Void Acoustics has announced the introduction of the new Cyclone 4, the latest member of the company’s IP-55 rated loudspeaker series that’s housed in a compact package and is designed for applications that include outdoor venues and entertainment spaces.
The Cyclone 4, which is making its debut at the ongoing ISE 2022 show in Barcelona (hall 7, booth #T700), is a passive two-way loudspeaker design housing a 4-inch cone driver and .75-inch soft-dome tweeter. Frequency response is stated as 83 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) and dispersion is 70 x 70 degrees, with power handling of 30 watts (AES) and maximum output of 102 dB continuous and 108 dB peak.
The ABS enclosure, with non-resonant structure, measures 5.8 x 7 x 5.8 inches (HxWxD) and is available with optional color customization to better blend in with the aesthetics of its surroundings. The components are protected by a marine-grade stainless steel grille. A wall bracket with Type 51 plate is included.
“We fully expect the flexible nature of this product to be well received into its core market, but to also introduce the Void Acoustics brand into new markets where the design aesthetic and audio excellence of our products is currently less well known,” says Alex Skan, managing director of Void Acoustics.
