Truth In Audio (TIA) announces that registration is now open for the one-day Level 1 (Red) Training for anyone interested in learning more about live audio.
Level 1 “Fundamentals” training is mandatory for anyone wishing to move on to subsequent TIA training levels and will provide comprehensive information on many key aspects of the live sound industry. Advanced signup is recommended as class sizes will be limited. Secure your seat by following the links to the TIA website and learn more about what Level 1 training looks like.
The first training sessions will be held at Sound Image Productions (SIP) located in Hayward, CA. SIP is our first Reciprocation Partner at Truth In Audio.
These first sessions offer the choice of two separate dates in Hayward, CA:
— Monday, December 3, 2018,
— Wednesday, December 5, 2018
Agenda for the day:
8:30 am – Coffee and introductions
9:00 am – Training (details provided after completing signup)
12:30 pm – Lunch (included in the price)
1:30 pm – Training continues
6:00 pm – Training day ends, hospitality starts
A certificate of completion will be given to all participants who complete Level 1 training.
Truth In Audio has created a very unique opportunity in TIA Academy with the Reciprocation Partner Program for audio equipment rental companies.
The reciprocation program is an exchange of services between Truth In Audio and rental companies around the United States and Canada. TIA produces a mobile training camp and requires that host rental companies provide their facilities to conduct the training activities. The people that TIA will train may either work for you already or might work at your facility in the future. TIA and the host rental company mutually benefit from seeing the students get an education in the industry, and reciprocation partners will be part of an alliance that is focused directly on this aspect.
