Tannoy has released a new update to its VNET Software (also known as Podware) which features a number of new features and improved functionality.
The latest version is now available to download from the Software section of the Tannoy website.
VNET is Tannoy’s network protocol for commissioning and ongoing diagnostic and monitoring of loudspeaker systems.
The VNET package comprises of VNET Software, VNET Interface drivers and of course VNET compliant loudspeakers with associated firmware.
This Windows interface controls all of the critical install functions, as well as providing the interface for the ongoing monitoring of critical system status and performance data, all in real-time.
Each loudspeaker in the system can be individually optimized and acoustically profiled, taking into account its exact position within the venue relative to the room boundary, and its own performance relative to the acoustic properties of the room itself.
New features include group linking, full support for the Tannoy Vnet4A amplifier, increased tree features and support, faster synchronization at launching, and much more.
