SynAudCon Releases Spring 2019 Training Schedule

Courses provide key tools and methods of understanding for audio professionals, system engineers, designers and installers.

SynAudCon has released Spring 2019 training event dates. The lineup will be marketed to audio professionals, system engineers, designers and installers.

SynAudCon training is purposefully created with the audio practitioner in mind; providing key tools and methods of understanding which promote “deep thinking and understanding,” encouraging career advancement.

Sound System Design | Opt EQ – Feb. 5-7 – Sydney Australia
This special one time event will spend 2-days on Sound System Design and 1-day on OptEQ “Equalization Demystified.” Pat Brown presents a “logical, intuitive, comprehensive approach” to sound system design. On day 3, he will present a comprehensive approach to sound system tuning that combines contemporary and legacy design and equalization practices into a logical, accurate, and repeatable process.

Sound System Design – Mar. 18-20, 2019 – Raleigh NC
Instructor Pat Brown begins with instruction on loudspeaker selection and placement for even coverage. Day 2 integrates room acoustics into the process, including how to quantify the room’s acoustic behavior using measurements. Day 3 overviews the use of acoustics modeling to evaluate the interaction of the sound system and the room, and how to assure that the finished system has sufficient clarity.

Sound System Tech – April 11-12, 2019 – Phoenix AZ
Pat Brown presents the technical fundamentals of modern sound systems. The topics include analog and digital interfaces, signal levels, gain structure, grounding, and basic system tuning. Attendees will learn the “why and how” behind the numbers in a logical way through demonstrations and analogies. Learning “how it works” is key to sound system setup and troubleshooting.

OptEQ “EQ Demystified” – June 8-10, 2019 – InfoComm, Orlando FL
OptEQ is a comprehensive approach to sound system tuning that combines contemporary and legacy design and equalization practices into a logical, accurate, and repeatable process. OptEQ is a set of tenets that can be applied using almost any mainstream dual-channel FFT measurement system. OptEQ bases foundational instruction on principles; maintaining a “product-agnostic” position.
