The new Andamanda Phuket waterpark, which opened in 2022 as one of the largest leisure and entertainment destinations in Thailand, is outfitted with sound reinforcement systems utilizing a range of HARMAN Professional Solutions components, including JBL Professional loudspeakers, BSS digital processing and a Soundcraft digital mixer.
The system project, deployed by Mahajak Development Co., covers all five key areas in the park; The Pearl Palace, the Emerald Forest, Naga Jungle, the Great Andaman Bay, and Coral World. The Pearl Palace welcomes visitors to the park and also houses the central computer system that channels music and announcements throughout the park, with the Mahajak team installing a BSS BLU-USB link interface to connect the computer to a BLU-100 signal processor for playback and sound configuration. Additionally, a EC-4BV Ethernet controller allows for individual volume control in each zone.
In addition, Control 14C/T four-inch coaxial ceiling loudspeakers supply the indoor areas with audio while weatherproof Control 25-1 and 28-1 loudspeakers handle the outdoor spaces. Both models are also equipped with optional WeatherMax-treated grille covers for IP55-rated protection against the elements.
For the high-traffic, outdoor corridor spaces, Control 88M landscape loudspeakers utilize a minimalist design to deliver coverage, and communal spaces such the beach and bar areas are served by a combination of Control 28-1s joined by compact AWC129 loudspeakers. Control SB2210 subwoofers complement these loudspeaker with low-end reinforcement.
For events presented around the park, the Mahajak team provided a portable system utilizing EON610 powered loudspeakers, PRX815 floor monitors with built-in Wi-Fi and PRX818XLF compact subwoofers. The system also includes a Soundcraft Ui16 16-channel digital mixer.
