Solotech, which in the past two years has acquired Pro Sound & Video, SEAL, Miami StageCraft, and PSSL, has announced a new leadership structure for its operation in the United States, including: David Shoemaker appointed as president, sales and systems integration, U.S.; Kelly Prince named as chief technology officer, sales and systems integration, U.S.; and Rod Sintow tapped as strategic advisor and Solotech U.S. corporate officer.

The appointments were announced by Martin Trembly (Solotech president and CEO) and Philip Giffard (global president, sales and systems integration division). “Our systems integration expertise has been taken to new heights and our footprint in the United States has been significantly strengthened,” Giffard states. “With our solid positioning, the time has come to take another important step and consolidate our strengths to ensure succession in a context of undeniable growth”.

In leading the sales and systems integration division in the U.S., Shoemaker, who was with Pro Sound & Video for more than 15 years, is responsible for profitability and growth as well as defining Solotech’s business strategy in tandem with Prince. He serves as a member of the division’s global management team and is collaborating on major transactions and new strategic business initiatives, along with ensuring the cohesive deployment of support functions that include human resources and information technology.

Meanwhile, Prince is responsible for the overall technical expertise and the development of approaches that suit the needs of the company’s clients. He is managing the deployment of all design and engineering services along with overseeing strategic procurement for the division in the U.S., collaborating with the strategic sourcing team in Canada. He’s also focusing on marketing for the commercial deployment of technology and the promotion of expertise. Also a member of the division’s global management team, he comes to the role with more than 20 years of experience with Pro Sound & Video.

Sintow is leading concept development, planning and positioning of new strategic business initiatives in collaboration with Giffard. He’s also acting as a strategic advisor and is contributing to the company’s vision of growth with a “global and local” approach. As the founder and Chairman of Pro Sound & Video, he’s promoting the full integration of the company in the Solotech family, notably as a mentor to Shoemaker and Prince. He has 45 years of experience in the pro AV industry.
