Shure Names Sean Bowman To Lead North American Sales

Focused on building company's go-to-market structure in sales management, market development, regional marketing, and customer experience to align with the company’s strategic priorities, achieve business goals, and prepare for future growth.
Sean Bowman is now leading North American sales for Shure.

Shure has announced a new global sales structure covering six geographic sales organizations — North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asia and Pacific — with associate vice president Sean Bowman leading North American sales.

“This new organizational structure has been designed to enhance operational efficiencies and expedite growth initiatives, aligning Shure for success in the ever-evolving market landscape,” explains José A. Rivas, VP and chief sales officer at Shure. “We believe this change will allow us to be more connected with our customers and end users and will bring our extraordinary solutions even closer to the market.”

Bowman joined Shure as senior sales manager in 2016, and previously led retail sales for the former U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand region, taking on responsibility for regional sales, market development, and regional marketing team leadership.

In his new role, Bowman is focused on building company’s go-to-market structure in sales management, market development, regional marketing, and customer experience to align with the company’s strategic priorities, achieve business goals, and prepare for future growth.

“It’s an honor to take on this new role and lead Shure’s evolution in North America,” says Bowman. “This new structure will allow us to prioritize the creative voices of our customers directly into the decisions that shape our products and roadmap, pushing the limits of what is possible through powerful innovation and engineering.”

Before joining Shure in 2016, he was vice president of the Americas at Gibson Brands, integrating multiple brands in its MI, pro, and consumer markets. Bowman has a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in Music Technology from Indiana University.
