Sequoia 11 DAW Software Now Supports EuCon Protocol For Connectivity To Euphonix Pro Consoles

Euphonix has announced native EuCon support for its Professional Series of consoles and controllers in the Sequoia 11 Digital Audio Workstation native PC software from Magix AG.

The EuCon high-speed Ethernet control protocol has been developed by Euphonix to allow both Mac OSX and Windows media software applications, such as Sequoia, to be controlled from the Euphonix Pro range of consoles and controllers including the MC Pro and System 5-MC controllers, and the S5 Fusion and the System 5 digital audio mixing systems.

EuCon allows high-speed, high-resolution control of fader, pans, and plug-ins as well as access to many of the software’s functions by the programmable keys on the Euphonix control surface for fast access to functions that are used most.

Sequoia has been an integral part of leading broadcast and mastering studios worldwide for years, including WDR, MDR, SWR, the Vienna Symphonic Library, and Sterling Sound in New York. The range of functionality makes Sequoia the perfect choice for any kind of media production.

Sequoia is ideal for home and project studios, sound engineers, music producers, and radio journalists and up to large-scale professional studios, offering highly versatile workflows.

“It’s great to welcome Magix to the growing number of EuCon partners that have integrated EuCon into their software,” said Euphonix CEO Martin Kloiber, “Sequoia is a very highly regarded DAW with some outstanding features that can now be fully integrated with all Euphonix Pro consoles and controllers for a much richer user experience.”
