Sennheiser’s #DontStopTheEducation initiative is presenting two free online educational sessions this week, including a roundtable with members of the Sennheiser RF/wireless team on Thursday, May 7 and a webinar on digital audio and digital wireless microphones that will be launching on Friday, May 8.
On May 7 at 10:30 am U.S. Eastern time, Jonas Naesby (Denmark), Vincent Tilgenkamp (Netherlands), and Volker Schmitt (Germany) of Sennheiser will discuss steps for trouble-free operation of wireless microphone systems. All three panelists have supported many live audio productions globally, both in the music and the theatrical fields, and will be bringing that experience to the table. They’ll be illustrating the discussion with real-world examples, and will also answer audience questions. Registration for this webinar is now open here.
A session on digital audio and digital wireless microphones will be presented at three different times on May 8 to facilitate access for all time zones — the session is at 2:30 am, 7:30 am and 12:00 pm U.S. Eastern time. Volker Schmitt, will explain the general concepts behind digital audio and digital wireless microphone transmission, and will also talk about the advantages and challenges in digital wireless and compare them to analog wireless transmission, In addition, over the two next weeks, Schmitt will present additional webinars that will build upon the first session.
