RØDE has announced the introduction of the NT1 Signature Series, the latest edition of the company’s original studio condenser microphone that joins the NT1 5th Generation in the current range and includes the original XLR-only design of previous generations.
The NT1 Signature Series incorporates the company’s HF6 large-diaphragm (1-inch) condenser capsule that’s engineered to sub-micron tolerances, with a tight cardioid polar pattern for background noise rejection. Self-noise is stated as 4 dBA.
The new series is offered in a range of limited-edition colors, including red, green, purple, pink and blue. The aluminum body is designed to be rugged and the and the finishes are stated to be resistant to scuffs and scratches. A studio-grade shock mount and pop filter as well as an XLR cable are included with each microphone.
The NT1 Signature Series is priced at US $159.
