Renkus-Heinz announced that it is returning to the NAMM Show in 2024 that begins on January 25 at the Anaheim Convention Center, where the company will exhibit its ICLive X Series of digitally steerable arrays powered by new OmniBeam beam-steering software at booth 17811 in addition to hearing them in action at the Renkus-Heinz Hilton Lobby center stage on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Renkus-Heinz team members will also be on the floor to field questions, including CTO Ralph Heinz, engineering manager Chad DeFranco, western regional sales manager Garrison Parkin and eastern regional sales manager Joe Fustolo.

“At Renkus-Heinz, it’s our promise to ourselves and our customers to deliver unmatched sound experiences and product quality,” says Ralph Heinz. “OmniBeam is the fulfillment of that promise, and live music especially deserves that top quality. We’re excited to celebrate live sound and its complexities at NAMM. We welcome everyone to stop by our booth to say hello and also make their way down to the Renkus-Heinz Hilton Lobby stage to hear some great local bands on great speakers. We’re looking forward to a good time!”

The new OmniBeam algorithm is the culmination of decades of R&D in steerable technology, replacing the previous “best-fit” algorithm to now deliver upgraded sound quality and coverage with less time and knowledge required. The new algorithm instantly generates FIR coefficients for every unique venue, with the end result being custom-tailored coverage dialed into the geometry of each space.

The ICLive X has been designed from the ground up to be a highly scalable sound system. Each mid-sized ICLX module can stand alone or be arrayed with up to 12 units to deliver predictable coverage for any venue. The complementary ICLX-118S subwoofer adds low-frequency energy to any ICLive X system, and a wide range of rigging and cabling accessories are designed to help simplify integration and deployment.
