Renkus-Heinz has announced the appointment of industry veteran Jim Bailey to a newly created product marketing position, where he will fill a number of vital roles within the company, including the creation of technical documentation, educational videos, and software development, interfacing directly with both marketing and engineering.
He comes to Renkus-Heinz after serving as general manager of Aphex, and his lengthy career in pro audio has also included product management positions at Avid and TASCAM, where he played a major role in the development of numerous products at both companies. Many years as a successful recording engineer and studio owner served as his launching point into manufacturing, applying that experience in the development of new audio products.
“Jim’s broad background across a wide range of technical and marketing disciplines is exactly what is needed at Renkus-Heinz,” states Rik Kirby, vice president of sales and marketing. “His ability to fulfill multiple roles is invaluable, and we are confident he will quickly become an indispensible member of the Renkus-Heinz team.”
“Renkus-Heinz is one of the companies that started it all – they’re part of the history of professional audio,” Bailey adds. “More importantly, they are innovators whose products have had a major impact on loudspeaker design. I’m proud to be a part of such a great group of people, and looking forward to contributing to the next generation of Renkus-Heinz technology.”
