Registration is now open for fall classes of the NSCA University Electronic Systems Technician (EST) Training Series, providing convenient and in-depth training.
Training starts September 14 and runs for 38 weeks.
The Electronic Systems Technician (EST) curriculum includes a comprehensive overview of the entire commercial electronic systems industry. Students learn about a variety of systems, applications, national codes and standards while gaining real-life, on-the-job training as well as the ability to:
• Interpret electrical drawings, site plans and more
• Understand the function of each level of open systems interconnections (OSI)
• Set up and use selected cable testers
• Evaluate the performance of copper and optical fiber cable
This training series encompasses audio/visual systems to security and nurse call applications while educating students on the complete project from technical components to project management.
Companies that lack an in-house training department will benefit from NSCA’s EST Training Series. The program provides a complete learning experience encompassing three years of training related to the entire commercial electronic systems industry.

Level 1 of the EST Training Series begins September 14 and includes a combination of both online learning and hands-on instruction. The online classroom environment incorporates popular methods of learning and communicating. This allows students to interact and learn from peers working on a multitude of systems and applications.
Registration fees start at $695 for NSCA members and $995 for non-members.
