The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers (P&E) Wing has issued a new document entitled “Considerations For Recording Studios As They Reopen,” a list of potential safety measures and other aspects to keep in mind as the process of reopening begins.
The document is based upon discussions with numerous recording studio owners, engineers and other industry professionals around the U.S. It’s intended as a resource and is not meant to supersede local guidelines, but instead to complement them with specifics, as informed by those striving to keep the music community safe while getting back to work.
