The new EVOX system from RCF is a compact, self-contained PA system designed for easy portability and set-up while delivering quality sound reinforcement.
The EVOX package is self-contained, with the mid-high loudspeaker cabinet fitting into the back of the subwoofer, which also protects the electronics and system connections. A pole mount is included.
The loudspeaker array design provides a constant coverage of 120 degrees by 30 degrees (H x V). A progressive array shape to optimizes directivity while avoiding the high-frequency beaming typical of a straight array.
A three-piece pole allows for the loudspeaker to be positioned at different heights dependent on the EVOX positioning and venue configuration. Cable clips secure connections.
Two versions of EVOX are available.
Two EVOX systems are available – EVOX 5 and EVOX 8.
The EVOX 8 is powered by a 700-watt RMS amplifier, with a 12-inch-loaded subwoofer and a loudspeaker module with eight 2-inch compression drivers rated as capable of achieving 128 dB max SPL. Frequency response is stated as 40 Hz – 20 kHz. Total package size is 11.6 x 13.6 x 19.3 inches, and weight is 51 pounds.
The EVOX 5 is powered by a 400-watt RMS amplifier, with a 10-inch subwoofer and a loudspeaker module with five 2-inch compression drivers rated as capable of achieving 125 dB max SPL. Frequency response is stated as 40 Hz – 20 kHz. Total package size is 11.5 x 16.8 x 18 inches, and weight is 42 pounds.
Optional protective cover and portable trolley are available for both systems. EVOX systems are shipping now.
