PreSonus has announced the new line of Eris studio monitors that are available in three tiers — Essential, Studio and Pro — to suit the specific needs of a variety of users.

The Essential tier ($99.99-$249.99 USD, £89.00-£219.00 GBP, €99.00-€249.00 EUR, $229.00-449.00 AUD, ¥17,600-69,300 JPY) is comprised of entry level monitors for more casual users, offering compact size and pared down functionality. Most models available in this tier deliver Bluetooth functionality, onboard tuning, headphone outputs, and quality sound. Specially designed to complement the voicing and frequency response of the series, the Eris Sub 8BT is stated to deliver response down to 30 Hz. Essential models include Eris 3.5, Eris 3.5 BT, Eris 4.5 BT, Eris 5 BT and Eris Sub 8 BT.
The Studio tier, ($149.99-$249.99 USD, £109.00-£219.00 GBP, €129.00-€249.00 EUR, $249.00-$449.00 AUD, ¥20,900-35,200 JPY) is geared for more dedicated producers and musicians, with a range of models starting with the Studio 4 for more compact working spaces to the Studio 8 for those looking for more volume and power. The Studio series has a custom-tuned EBM waveguide, detailed high-frequency reproduction, and a full low end. Studio models include Eris Studio 4, Eris Studio 5 and Eris Studio 8.
The Pro tier ($399.99-499.99 USD, £349.00-£429.00 GBP, €399.00-€499.00 EUR, $699.50-$849.00 AUD, ¥XX-XX JPY), available the end of September 2023, is comprised of more premium monitors for those looking to explore their mixes with added precision. They offer a coaxial design and provisions for wall and ceiling mounts. This tier also includes a the Eris Pro subwoofer tuned to complement any of the Eris Pro or Studio speakers. Pro models include Eris Pro 6, Eris Pro 8 and Eris Pro Sub 10.
