At the upcoming ISE 2022 (Fira de Barcelona, May 10-13), Powersoft announced that it will be offering an interactive tour of its Dynamic Music Distribution technology while also offering visitors a haptic (the use of technology that stimulates the senses of touch and motion) experience at its dual stands (#M700 and #K670) in Hall 7.

The Dynamic Music Distribution demonstration will be at center stage of main stand (M700), where company personnel will be on hand to guide visitors through what its functionality has to offer to system integrators. DMD presents the ability to scale inputs and zones efficiently with dynamic routing capabilities embedded on the company’s power amplifier platforms, specifically making it more simple to dynamically route music and other signal sources along with control signals between different zones and across multiple amplifiers – all independent of source location and without the need for a centralized DSP. The stand’s walls will offer interactive panels representing three different DMD application examples to physically exploring the various combinations achievable with the applications.

Meanwhile, at stand K670, Powersoft will showcase an immersive haptic experience via Mover, the company’s patented low-frequency direct-drive/tactile transducer. Visitors will have the opportunity to become engulfed in the vibrations from 12 inertial drive version Movers at 4 ohms, powered by three Quattrocanali DSP+D amplifiers situated under the floor panels, while an interactive video wall will be displaying content in sync with the transducers. Two of the Movers will be exposed by plexiglass floor panels to provide a closer look at the technology in action.

Mover is able to localize and sync haptic feedback to video projection and sound, allowing sound designers and integrators the opportunity to turn a venue into a multi-modal space without the need for an expansive AV upgrade. It can also create different haptic feedback for different zones, ensuring that sound reproduction is matched with the video projection being displayed.
