One Systems has announced the introduction of two new, enhanced direct weather loudspeakers – the 106 HTH and 104HTH.
These two loudspeakers are the first of many One Systems loudspeakers to be enhanced with new features in 2015.
One Systems president, Doug MacCallum, recently announced universal improvements across the One Systems direct weather product line. These product enhancements include continued utilization of 304-grade stainless steel painted with a new marine-capable polyester based paint that, when used together, holds up like marine-grade stainless.
In addition all hang points and external hanging hardware are manufactured in 316-grade stainless only, to ensure that units can be hung outdoors in any venue in the world, as well as all indoor venues excluding indoor swimming pools. One Systems offers separate natatorium loudspeakers for indoor swimming pool applications.
“This next generation of products translates into speakers capable of withstanding the level of moisture and corrosion that was in the past only associated with the higher grade marine versions of each product,” explains MacCallum. “We are also incorporating the use of internal transformers on most models, so that this will allow system integrators to select between 4-ohm/8-ohm – depending on the model – or switch over to 70 volt or 100 volt with ease.”
These improvements will enable One Systems and its international distributors to focus better on maintaining higher levels of inventory for all models, and will simplify the ordering process for One Systems dealers.
Both the 104HTH and 106HTH are two-way designs featuring wide coverage patterns – 110 x 80 and 110 x 70 degrees respectively. Each low Q pattern is ideal for short throw and near field sound reinforcement applications. The configuration scheme does not utilize any switches that may limit system reliability. Both loudspeakers offer superb intelligibility, extended bandwidth and superior system dynamics.
