Number Nine Nightclub In Washington, DC Outfitted With E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio

Two-story, indoor-outdoor venue in city's Logan Circle neighborhood upgrades with Quantum Series Q43T column enclosures, OVI-12 12-inch coaxial loudspeakers, Q-10 compact subwoofers and more.

Number Nine, two-story, indoor-outdoor bar and nightclub in Washington, DC’s Logan Circle neighborhood, has recently been equipped with an updated sound system headed by E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio components.

Co-founder Ed Bailey and partner John Guggenmos were clear on what they wanted when they were looking to update their current sound system. Designed by DAS Audio Hospitality and Nightclub national sales manager John Fiorito with equipment provided by Randy White of Washington Music Center, the system delivers low end via 18 DAS Audio Q-10 compact subwoofers and two more E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio ES212 dual 12-inch subs.

Sixteen DAS Audio Quantum Series Q43T compact column enclosures and eight DAS Audio OVI-12 12-inch coaxial loudspeakers complete the system, powered by four EP2K4 4-channel amplifiers and four more EP6K4 4-channel amps. The installation was completed by Guillermo “Willy” Rodriguez of Willy-Tech Services, and Geovanni Ortiz of the DAS Audio application engineering team was brought in for tuning.

“We had first experienced the E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio system in Miami and we knew immediately that this was the change we wanted for Number Nine,” Guggenmos says. “Its clear, rich sound is immersive but not overpowering. People can feel the music and still enjoy a conversation. The experience is so compelling that we’re putting DAS Audio into our upcoming venues as well. It’s truly astounding – hearing really is believing.”
