1 SOUND has announced that it will release Auralis, the company’s new 3D audio design prediction software, at the 2024 InfoComm Show this coming June at the Las Vegas Convention Center (booth C9221). The official launch date is June 12, with the software able to be downloaded directly from the company website.

Auralis is a free application that is a multipurpose sound design tool to provide precise, high-resolution, full-color audio predictions of loudspeaker designs in three-dimensional spaces. Users can import various types of files, including CAD and SketchUp 3D files, or create their own three-dimensional spaces via the software’s interface.

The platform is streamlined and designed to be straightforward, with clear direction to build/import spaces, adjust system mechanical information with 1 SOUND rigging along with render 3D acoustical mapping, SPL predictions, and phase coherency. It utilizes information collected for all of the company’s loudspeakers collected in its research and design lab via rigorous testing and measurement procedures.

When the design process is complete, Auralis will generate customizable reports with all applicable information so users don’t have to create their own. The printed mechanical reports act as an onsite installation reference. The platform supports various design application types, working with multiple loudspeakers, Tower arrays, and measurement microphones.

1 SOUND states that it will continuously update the software in the future, adding new tools and including new additions to the company’s loudspeaker catalog.
