Berlin technical service provider Complete Audio is supplying Martin Audio MLA as the main system for the concert tour by five-piece indie band Kraftklub.
The “In Schwarz Tour 2015” launched in Austria and Switzerland and been building up to 5,000-12,000 capacity venues in Germany. Complete Audio managing director André Rauhut recommeded Martin Audio MLA in seeking to supply a scalable sound system that would fit the various types of venues the tour is visiting.
Complete Audio system engineer Nils Uhthoff explains, “For the dynamic show and powerful sound of Kraftklub, we’re using a 20-box Martin Audio MLA system and four MLD Downfills, which are an important part of the MLA system. The two down fills, which are hung at the base, increase the efficiency of the entire multi-cellular array set-up because they can provide up to 50 feet of throw to the first rows.”
Fourteen Martin Audio MLX subwoofers are delivering low-frequency extension. Any delay locations and out fills are handled by up to 20 additional MLA Compact elements.
