A series of in-depth certification training sessions for the MLA and Wavefront Precision loudspeaker systems were recently held at the Omni Hotel and Resort in Cancun, Mexico by Martin Audio Latin America (LATAM).
Hosted by LATAM’s Berenice Gutierrez and led by Martin Audio’s Product Support engineer Robin Dibble, the two all-day sessions focused on MLA, WPC and WPM models, accessories, functionality, rigging for both systems, case studies, Vu Net and Display software, the benefits of Hard Avoid and how to apply MLA Multi-cellular and Wavefront Precision scalable resolution technology in a variety of applications. Other topics for this comprehensive training included CDD-Live loudspeakers and Dante networking technology.
An extensive list of key Martin Audio distributors, partners and customers from Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Colombia and the Dominican Republic were in attendance for the training sessions.
Asked about the effectiveness of the sessions Gutierrez responded, “We felt it was very successful because we could cover both product lines at the same place which improved the overall experience and enabled everyonetolearn and understand the best solutions for different applications. They were also able to get an overview of Martin Audio’s potential for the touring, rental, live events and installations in terms of what systems are the most effective choice given the end user’s budgets and rider requirements.
“In the future, we are planning more training sessions for LATAM, not only in terms of this kind of ‘hands on’ format but also webinars and regional training as well.
