Kent Dudley & Bended Knee Make National Debut With NLFX Pro & Electro-Voice

EV wireless systems, microphones, line arrays and more deployed

Kent Dudley & Bended Knee recently brought their brand of inspirational Christian country to a headlining show at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, MN, with sound reinforcement for the 800-plus full-capacity crowd provided by NLFX Pro, which chose to utilize a wide range of Electro-Voice components.

“Everyone involved in the event was wonderful – we give them all an A-plus,” says Dudley, who was impressed by the sound quality and service that Stowe and the NLFX team brought to his largest performance yet.

The Electro-Voice equipment used included RE2 wireless microphone systems with N/D767a handhelds, a wired N/D767a for drum vocals, a PL-DK7 drum mic kit, TX1152FM stage monitors, XLD281 main line array loudspeakers with XLC215 subs, and power and processing via TG7 amps equipped with RCM-26 cards for control and supervision via IRIS-Net software.

The seven-member group launched their first national album “He Gave Me a Friend” at the beginning of July, 2012, and have enjoyed seeing their first single “I’ll Praise You All Night Long” hit 1000 radio stations nationwide. Though the band only came together five months ago, they’ve already played over 40 shows and are signed to the Tate Music Label out of Oklahoma. The band will continue touring across the States in 2012.

“The sound was incomparable to anything we’ve ever experienced before, and we heard nothing but positive feedback from everyone in attendance,” adds Dudley. “I’d like to give special shouts out to Ben Stowe and the team from NLFX Pro, Electro-Voice, The Sanford Center, and everyone involved for helping make our debut on the national scene so memorable.”
