Hosa Technology Promotes Jonathan Pusey To VP Of Sales & Marketing

Hosa Technology has promoted Jonathan Pusey to the newly created position of vice president of sales and marketing, a move made to help guide the company as it transitions to its next generation of leadership.

In his new position, Pusey is responsible for planning and directing the marketing of the organization’s products, sales, and services by performing a variety of duties in conjunction with other management staff.

These responsibilities involve establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate sales objectives, developing and executing the company’s marketing plans and programs in support of the organization’s sales and revenue objectives, directing and coordinating the activities of manufacturers’ representatives and distributors both domestically and internationally, fostering and maintaining business relationships with key industry personnel and strategic partners, and ensuring a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

During the past six years, Pusey’s duties have grown exponentially. He started with the company in 2006 as an inside sales representative, and a year later was promoted to national marketing manager, where he was responsible for guiding the company’s brand image and the message put forth to the public.

In January 2010, Pusey was promoted to director of sales and marketing where he continued to expand the company’s image while taking a direct role in its sales operations, and now with this latest promotion, he spearheads the company’s sales and marketing efforts on a global scale.

“Over the years,” states Pusey, “Hosa has provided me with so many incredible career opportunities. This company has a very diverse range of products and it’s this variety that I find so appealing. I’ve been fortunate to learn not only the ins and outs of cables and connectors, but to be an active participant in the development and marketing of a wide range of products that now encompass everything from cables to instrument care products, stands for musicians, microphones, and more.

“During my time with Hosa, I’ve learned how the sales and marketing channels must complement and reinforce one another in order to ensure maximum effectiveness. I’m honored to have the opportunity to help guide our company as we move forward.”

Mayumi Martinez, chief executive officer at Hosa Technology, adds, “Jonathan brings a wealth of experience that, I’m certain, will prove invaluable as the company transitions to a new generation of leadership,” said Martinez. “He exhibits a unique ability to view a challenge from the broad perspective and, in the process, formulate a well-conceived response.

“His first-rate organizational skills and the ability to formulate a thoroughly planned course of action is exactly what any company needs to succeed in today’s highly competitive business environment. I have every confidence in his abilities and have no doubt he will make numerous significant contributions to this organization.”
