Hall Technologies has announced the debut of three new products, including the ASTRO2-4 extender kit for USB 2.0 devices as well as the AIM-70 and AIM-100 HDBaseT extenders, and they were highlighted at the recent InfoComm 2023 show in Orlando, joined by Hall’s Nexus Connect series of products.
“We’ve recently added AIM-70 and AIM-100 to our line of HDBaseT extenders. Partly to fill a gap of a mid-range extension product and partly to replace the outdated UH-BT and UH-BTX 70m and 100m HDBaseT extender sets,” says VP of technology Ken Eagle. “Our AIM products were designed as a cost-effective way to extend signals from laptops to projectors or flat panels displays in classroom or meeting rooms primarily. ASTRO2-4 is an extender kit for USB 2.0 devices like interactive flat panels, USB cameras, microphones, and speakerphones. ASTRO is also ideal for classroom and conference room environments where robust transmission is needed for signal extension for up to four USB devices.”
AIM-70 and AIM-100 support resolutions up to 4K@60Hz and HDCP 2.2 over CATx cables and supports bi-directional IR and RS232 pass-through. ASTRO2-4 connects up to fourUSB 2.0 (Up to 480 Mbps) devices over CATx cable 50 meters (164 feet). It can also be used for connectivity for soft-codec applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and more. All three products are in-stock and shipping now.
