Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro), the outside sales division of Guitar Center that focuses on the needs of professional users, announces the appointment of Derek Snyder to the position of Director, Western Region. The announcement was made by GC Pro Vice President Rick Plushner and reflects the division’s ongoing success and expansion.
Plushner stated, “Derek has been a tremendous asset to GC Pro. He has provided guidance on starting our installations program; assisted in opening various commercial product lines; developed key post production and film accounts; and much more. His personal knowledge of equipment and strong relationships with the vendor community acquired over decades of doing business in our industry have translated into success for his staff and our division. He has a great understanding of the marketplace and our competition, and he operates with the utmost integrity. We look forward to continuing to work with him in this enhanced role.”
