Every Seat In The House Gets Its Own K-Array Loudspeaker At Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Auditorium

Each of the 240 seats in the glass auditorium has its own Lyzard-KZ14 installed in the chairback to help deliver optimum speech intelligibility.

Onepath (Kennesaw, GA) recently deployed a rangle of K-array loudspeakers at the new auditorium at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, including 240 Lyzard KZ14 full-range models joined by 15 KTR-24 and two KMT12P subwoofers.

In fact, each of the 240 seats in the glass auditorium has its own Lyzard-KZ14 installed in the chairback to help deliver optimum speech intelligibility for the numerous medical conferences hosted at the facility.

The modern building, which sits at street level between the major cross point of the campus, has an avant-garde style design with a 40-foot high ceiling and an auditorium space of 45 feet by 90 feet with two walls of full glass.

The Truffle-KTR24 and KMT12P subwoofers are utilized to enhance the low-frequency spectrum and add low-end “warmth” throughout the space, concealed throughout the audience area.
