At the InfoComm 2023 show in Orlando, DiGiCo has announced the introduction of the new Milan-certified DMI-AVB module that’s designed to bring interoperability between DiGiCo’s DMI card slot-equipped consoles and any amplifier, loudspeaker, or other system component on a shared Milan AVB network. (DiGiCo is exhibiting at booth 5760 at the Orange County Convention Center.)
The digital 64×64 AVB card supplies eight streams of eight-channel audio with stated low latency. Supporting both 48 kHz and 96 kHz formats, the DMI-AVB also supports Master/Slave clock mode. The new card is compatible with all Quantum range desks, the SD12, and other console models via DiGiCo’s outboard Orange Box.
