Boulevard Pro Provides Saddle River Day School With Audio Upgrade Featuring Yamaha Components

Yamaha LS9-16 digital audio console with MY8-AD96-CA and MLA8 cards, Yamaha Installation Series loudspeakers for house and monitors

Saddle River Day School, located in the hills of Saddle River, New Jersey, is a non-profit, college-preparatory independent day school accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the State of New Jersey.

Recently, Boulevard Pro (Oradell, NJ) was hired by the school to take on the task of upgrading their existing 250-seat performance space/auditorium in Alford Hall. After taking out the old system, the auditorium was outfitted with a Yamaha LS9-16 digital audio console with MY8-AD96-CA and MLA8 cards, providing the console with a total of 24 mic lines.

Two Yamaha Installation Series IF2112 loudspeakers for house PA along with two Yamaha IF2108 speakers for monitors were also installed.

“Saddle River Day School is a high-end private school with a very active arts program and drama department so the new system is always in use,” states James Cioffi, Boulevard Pro. “The upgrade has been dramatic and everyone is over the moon about the new system. The LS-9 is the star of the show.”

“Boulevard Pro has been just terrific to work with,” states Jacki Moro, Chair of the Performing Arts and Vocal teacher for grades K-12. “They have been here not only to install the system but to train me and several students on how to run things properly.”

Boulevard also updated the microphone system to include five Shure MX202b and two Shure MX418 microphones and re-installed ten Audio-Technica lav wireless systems. A QSC CX404 amplifier is used at front of house and monitors. A new 24×4 custom snake with multi DIs connects front of house to the stage.

“We have had the best sound at concerts and our theater productions in all of the ten years that I have been at Saddle River Day School,” Moro notes.
