Bose Professional has announced that its Videobar VB1 USB conferencing device is now Zoom Certified, helping to allow users to confidently collaborate with their preferred third-party platform.

Zoom Certified devices are stated to be tested to meet high standards in both audio and video performance. The Videobar VB1 employs six beam-steering microphones that are designed to actively focus on voices in a room and reject noise, while proprietary Bose transducers reproduce audio from multimedia presentations, play Bluetooth audio, and are intended to ensure voices sound natural and clear. The 4K HD camera with autoframing is designed to deliver clear video so remote participants can see presenters, whiteboards and other in-room objects.

In addition, the Videobar VB1 has single-cable USB connectivity and can be mounted to suit a variety of spaces. Using the included table stand or wall-mount kit the Videobar VB1 mounting options allow for tilt capability to keep the team centered in the video image.

The Bose Work Management app provides remote device management and configuration capabilities that range from real-time status to system-wide updates and changes. The app is designed to make it simpler to deploy and manage Videobar VB1 devices from anywhere, from a single unit or up to 1,000 devices installed in meeting rooms across the globe.

The Videobar VB1 also has three apps that allow for configuration, management and real-time control. Bose Work Configuration software, available for Windows and macOS or via web browser, is for device setup and configuration. Bose Work Management software provides remote management of a single-device or enterprise-wide, multi-device changes, as well as to view device status in real time. And, the Bose Work mobile app allows anyone in the room to control the Videobar VB1 with their smartphone to adjust volume, mute, pan, tilt, zoom, zoom presets and Bluetooth pairing.
