Bosch Partnering With NSCA To Offer Two Scholarships To Commercial Electronics Systems Students

To be awarded to qualified applicants who have just graduated from high school or are currently receiving their undergraduate degree and are interested in the commercial electronics systems industry

The NSCA Education Foundation in partnership with Bosch Communications Systems is offering two $2,500 scholarships to students entering the commercial electronics systems industry.

Applications are now being accepted. For more information on how to apply, visit www.nscafoundation.org.

These scholarships, in memory of Robert Bosch, will be awarded to qualified applicants who have just graduated from high school or are currently receiving their undergraduate degree and are interested in the commercial electronics systems industry.

In 1886, Robert Bosch founded the “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering” in Stuttgart. This was the birth of today’s globally active Robert Bosch GmbH.

From the very beginning, the company’s history has been characterized by innovative drive and social commitment. In addition to these scholarships, Bosch renewed its commitment to the NSCA Education Foundation President’s Club, which will endow a portion of its future scholarship contributions.

“Bosch’s great history of philanthropic efforts is an extension of those core values within our own professional audio industry,” said Tom Hansen, vice president, Bosch Communications Systems. “The NSCA Education Foundation has its finger on the pulse of our industry and forward-looking view on education. This fits well with Bosch’s core philosophies and values. Education is key to the growth of our industry. “

“The NSCA Foundation greatly appreciates Bosch’s continued investment in the future of the next generation of the workforce of our industry,” said Tom Frericks, president of the NSCA Education Foundation. “Bosch provides a foundation for learning and training; and by supporting the future education of technicians, designers, and installers – they continue to support their values as an organization and impact on the industry.”

The NSCA Education Foundation supports the next generation of the commercial electronic systems industry by providing scholarships and education and training opportunities and working with colleges, vocational/technical schools, community colleges and high schools to encourage students with the endless opportunities that exist in this industry.
