The Hilton Bay Absolut Beach & Surf entertainment venue on Atzmaut Beach in Tel Aviv has recently undergone an audio upgrade headed by Void Acoustics loudspeakers and companion components implemented by New Audio Pro, the company’s distributor in Israel.
Hilton Bay Beach & Surf occupies about 300 square meters of seafront real estate and has been transformed with a refurbishment of the structure itself down to the soft furnishings, joined by the new venue-wide sound system. “These days our customers are looking for a pleasant, absorbing level of sound,” says Ronen Miley, the venue’s owner. “Void Acoustics has created a breakthrough in audio systems with speakers that are suitable for both party and beach environments, and bring a combination of stunning aesthetics and super amazing sound quality. This allows us to manage the vibe in the venue and the type of energy we want to create, depending on the time of day, the event, the music the DJ is playing — anything really.”
The team at New Audio Pro collaborating on the project include audio pro technical manager Yossi Edri, installation project manager Dudu Dahan, and pro sound division sales manager Alon Laski. Together they specified and installed the system, incorporating the product preferences indicated by Ronen, who was clear on the look and the feel that he wanted to achieve for his venue.
Central to the design are Void Cyclone 8, Cyclone 10, Cyclone 55 and Cyclone Bass loudspeakers, all in weather-protected white fiberglass enclosures and suited for interior and exterior use with an IP-55 rating. These are complemented by Air 8s from the company’s Air Series with further support from Venu 12s and Arcline 118 subwoofers. Loudspeakers are driven by Bias Q2 amplification working with an integrated D1 signal processor.
Josh Pearce, EMEA regional account manager for Void Acoustics, concludes that the company has a strong distributor in New Pro Audio, adding, “We always look forward to working with the team at New Audio Pro and are excited about what projects they bring to the table next.”
