BASSBOSS has introduced the CCM12-MK3, a new compact coaxial stage monitor that’s designed to meet the needs of discerning vocalists, instrumentalists and venues, and it will be highlighted at the 2024 NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center in demo room 201D on level 2 as well as booth 1110 in hall A.
The CCM12-MK3 is stated to be 50 percent smaller than many 12-inch monitors, so it can save space on stage, in room corners, and in size-constrained locations. Its coaxial driver delivers an 80-degree conical coverage pattern that’s engineered to be consistent and uniform while helping in reducing feedback.
The monitor can be adjusted to three different upward angles to suit both standing and seated performers. It can also be placed on subwoofers or tables, pole-mounted, used as a stage side fill or front fill, and mounted on walls or ceilings via its M10 flypoints.
The 12-inch coaxial woofer with 3-inch voice coil is coupled with a 1.4-inch-throat compression driver are bi-amped with a class D SMPS with PFC stated to deliver 900 watts LF and 300 watts HF. These components work with integrated processing with eight on-board presets offering settings optimized for various scenarios, including floor monitor duty, boundary loading, and extended LF output.
