A recent project to upgrade luxury entertainment venue Bar Menaka in Phnom Penn, Cambodia includes a new sound reinforcement system utilizing HARMAN Professional components that include JBL Professional loudspeakers, a Crown Audio power amplifier and a Soundcraft mixer in a project implemented by Nano Tech Co Ltd.
Bar Menaka hosts upscale parties, fashion shows, dinners and corporate events, elaborately decorated with lush jungle terraces, Khmer sculptures and a long Angkor-style hallway. The new system supports live performances by bands and DJs on a regular bases.
JBL VTX F15 multi-purpose loudspeakers serve as mains, joined by JBL subwoffers as well as low-profile STX812M monitors on stage. A Crown ITech 4x3500HD amplifier with onboard processing and proprietary LevelMAX limiting drives all loudspeakers. The new Soundcraft Si Performer digital live mixer, which includes four stereo Lexicon FX processors that can be used simultaneously, also includes a built-in DMX controller fro control over the light fixtures on the main stage.
