AVL Media Group, the North American distributor of Lab Gruppen, Klark Teknik, Turbosound, Midas, Tannoy, Zero-Ohm Systems and Spotlight, has announced the appointment of Kurt Metzler as director of U.S. sales.
Metzler previously worked for eight years with Powersoft, and prior to that, he held senior sales positions at EAW, Meyer Sound and Loud Technologies. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with AVL Media Group in a capacity that is very comfortable and familiar to me,” he says. “Moreover, I’m thrilled and honored to be working with such iconic brands that for decades have played such major roles in their respective parts of the professional audio and lighting markets.”
Andrew Hope, managing director of AVL who made the announcement, adds, “Having Kurt join AVL is such a positive move for us and we could not be happier. His experience in managing sales teams within the pro audio community is vast and a critical link for us. Kurt will be a valued part of the AVL team.”
