American Music & Sound (AM&S), an Exertis | JAM business, announced that it is gearing up for its largest presence to date at the upcoming 2024 NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center, where it will showcase brands that include Allen & Heath, Nord, BASSBOSS, Focusrite and more at two booths, one in the main hall focused on musical instruments and DJ products, and the other in the pro audio hall spotlighting professional mixing consoles and pro gear.
The booth in the pro audio hall has been extended this year to also include products from Ashly Audio, CAD, and Lake People. In addition to learning about promotions tied into the company’s 50th anniversary in 2024, visitors to the Ashly Audio display will be able to demo the new AquaControl software to its networked amplifiers and processors. CAD Audio will present its range of microphones, headphones, wireless systems, and more, while Lake People will display its range of headphone amplifiers, converters, and preamps.
The booth in the main hall will feature performances from brand-endorsed DJs and live musicians, which will be mixed through Allen & Heath’s new CQ series compact digital mixers. New for 2024, a dedicated American Music & Sound “MIX&LISTEN ZONE” will allow for interactive demos of a wide range of interfaces, guitars, keyboards, mixers, headphones and loudspeakers from a spectrum of brands.
AM&S will also have a loudspeaker demo room for BASSBOSS and Ocean Way Audio AeroWave speakers with live demos. Attendees can hear AeroWave on show days at 11 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm, and BASSBOSS at noon, 3 pm, and 5 pm.
Allen & Heath is once again the main console provider for the Live Sound Console training room, where the company’s live sound and touring manager and Michael Bangs will lead live sound training and certification classes. The classes will cover topics such as mixing techniques, workflow optimization, system integration, and network management. The classes will use Allen & Heath dLive series consoles, and those interested can register via the NAMM Show+ mobile app.
