The Norwegian hi-tech education facility, Bjornholt Upper Secondary School in Oslo, recently instaled an Allen & Heath iLive digital mixing system in its performing arts auditorium.
The system, which consists of an iDR-48 MixRack and iLive-T112 Control Surface, has already been pressed into service to manage a variety of events from a large 1300-person presentation incorporating delay lines, to a small 150-person music concert with performances from several bands.
“With the processing power built in, we don’t need to use outboard equipment any more,” said Bjornholt School building manager, Agnar Andersen.
“The show recall function makes set up times very quick, and due to the surface layout, our students have adapted faster to the controls than they have with other consoles.”
Also, everybody has commented that the sound has improved a lot through our existing EV system. iLive has exceeded our expectations!”
