A new Municipal Theatre recently opened its doors in the city of Chillán in central Chile. Established as a modern center for the arts and culture, the venue is equipped with a new technology suite based around Allen & Heath‘s dLive digital mixing system.
The 1300 capacity venue will host a diverse event program of opera, ballet, plays and music concerts, from visiting national and international production companies. Claudio Nadeau Molina from AV company, AudioMusica Proyectos, was appointed to design and install the audio system.
The dLive system comprises a S5000 surface with DM48 MixRack for front of house, a S3000 with DM32 for monitors, and a Dante digital splitter for audio distribution, with PC multitrack recording and Reaper DAW.
