Alcons Audio announced that it is returning to InfoComm 2023 with its Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience, to be presented daily starting on Tuesday, June 13 at demo room W230C at the Orange County Convention Center in partnership with FLUX technologies (SPAT Revolution immersive platform), DiGiCo (Quantum 338 console package), and Mega-Lite (lighting, video and truss systems).
The hour-long presentation sessions will begin on Tuesday at 2 pm and 4 pm and will continue Wednesday though Friday at 10 am 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm.
In addition, special guest Robert Scovill, noted live engineer for Def Leppard, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and many others and currently on tour with Kenny Chesney, will be on hand to talk about his experience with Alcons systems and his use of a portable reference monitor package for all his touring production work.
Product highlights at the show will be two new pro-ribbon systems making their U.S. trade show debut and one seeing its global introduction, the QRP40 larger-format pro-ribbon column with eight 5-inch woofers and the RBN1202 12-inch pro-ribbon driver. The QRP40 will be paired with the recently introduced QB363 mkII arrayable triple 12-inch bass system, to form a slim profile stack system.
Meanwhile at the Alcons booth (5587), the smaller sibling of the QRP40, the QRP20, will be on hand for low-level demos alongside a selection of point source, point source array, line source column and line array loudspeaker designs.
