Adamson Systems Adds Concept Audio Of France To Project Energia

France-based hire company Concept Audio has joined the growing list of Adamson Systems Energia beta partners. In addition to the new acquisition, the long-time Adamson partner also carries Y18, Y10 and SpekTrix loudspeakers, as well as T21 Subs and M15 monitors in its inventory.

As Adamson started to make details of the new Energia public, Concept Audio kept in close contact with DV2, Adamson’s French distributor, about becoming a member of the Energia Network. Recently the company had the opportunity to join Project Energia and jumped at the chance.

Before diving in blind, however, Concept Audio founders/managing directors Pierrick Burgin and Hugues Mongrand wanted to evaluate and compare several recent line array offerings from various manufacturers. Adamson prevailed in that evaluation process.

“Man, it is incredible. It’s powerful, lightweight and it sounds astonishing,” says Burgin. “We had demos by other brands, but the E15 is simply the best system in the world.”.

The first gig with the new Energia E15 system was “Spring Fest,” promoted by FM Radio Allouette and held outdoors for an audience of about 27,000 people.

For the event, Concept Audio flew 24 E15 modules, 12 per side, and utilized six T21 Subs in cardioid mode per side on the ground.

In weeks to come, the company will deploy E15s at a variety of outdoor festivals, including Hellfest Summer Open Air 2012, Free Music Festival in Montendre, 25th Anniversary of Futuroscope, Festiv’Ete in Moutiers sous Chantemerle, as well as on shows with Johnny Clegg, Sinsemilia, and as a cross-rental for Audiolite at Brest Maritime Festival 2012, and the Bobital Festival.
