In conjunction with InfoComm AV Week (October 16-22, 2011), Crestron is hosting daily tours of its Experience Center in Rockleigh, NJ, with an emphasis on educating local high school and college students about the AV industry, Crestron and career opportunities in the field.
Students will immerse themselves in the world of Crestron, meet company executives, and have the opportunity to ask questions about how to get involved in the AV industry. The company is also hosting system design and programming training courses for valued partners during the week-long celebration of the AV industry.
“AV Week provides the perfect platform to generate awareness among young people about our industry and the importance of AV technology in our daily lives,” says Crestron director of marketing Vincent Bruno. “We look forward to introducing a new generation to the AV industry and Crestron’s innovative solutions.”
Additionally, Crestron is sponsoring the seminar,“Designing for 2030: Integrated Building Technology” on Wednesday, October 26 at the Center for Architecture in Philadelphia.
The presentation is intended to empower project and design teams to integrate building systems. Following the seminar, the AV exposition showcases the latest in AV technology, solutions and products.
In its sixth year, AV Week is presented by InfoComm International to raise awareness of the industry through national, regional, and local activities that inform the general public about the prevalence of AV in everyday life.
