RØDE Microphones has announced four new accessories — the DCS-1, SC10, SC11, and SC16 — all designed to expand the capabilities of the company’s Wireless GO and VideoMic range.
The DCS-1 is a dual cold shoe mount for mounting two mics or cold shoe accessories onto a device with a single cold shoe. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, it is designed to be sturdy and discreet and is compatible with all RØDE products with a cold shoe adaptor. It also offers cable management slots for selected RØDE cables.
The SC11 is a TRS Y-splitter cable for connecting two mono 3.5 mm outputs to a single stereo 3.5 mm input. It’s suitable for connecting two mics to a single DSLR-style camera, for example, dual Wireless GO receivers, or a wireless receiver and a VideoMic.
The SC10 is a 3.5 mm TRRS to TRRS cable designed to connect on-camera mics to DSLR-style cameras or mobile devices. It has a flexible cable segment designed to enhance shock mount performance, coupled to a reinforced cable segment for routing around the camera. This is the same cable that comes with the RØDE VideoMic NTG and is now sold separately.
The SC16 is a USB-C to USB-C cable designed to connect RØDE mics with a USB-C output to USB-C devices. It has an in-built cable grip that is compatible with the VideoMic NTG shock mount cable management system, created for connecting the VideoMic NTG to Android devices.
The DCS-1, SC10, SC11 and SC16 are available now.
