1 SOUND has announced the appointment of Sonos Libra Vietnam to be the exclusive distributor of its loudspeakers and accessories in Vietnam, with the distributor already featuring 1 SOUND products in its Hanoi showroom.
After reaching the distribution agreement, 1 SOUND sales executive Leonardo Dani traveled to Hanoi to provide training to the Sonos Libra team, which is headed by director Nguyen Duc Cuong, Dani covered a wide range of topics, including applications, rigging options and accessories as well as uploading DSP presets.
On display in the showroom are Cannon coaxial series loudspeakers with installation subwoofers that include the MiniSUB5, as well as Tower cardioid column arrays and the SUB310 subwoofer. Once the products were set up and optimized in the space, the Sonos Libra team quickly began presenting demonstrations for area production companies.
“The audio market in Vietnam is growing fast, leading to consumer demand for high quality and good origin products,” states Nguyen Duc Cuong. “Personally, I feel that 1 SOUND is a high-quality product, providing accurate sound, high-end and impressive design, suitable for new demand in the Vietnam market.”
Dani adds, “1 SOUND only introduced the brand internationally in July 2022 and the feedback was immediately great, everywhere in the world — in the EU, in ME, and most of all in Asia. [Sal;es executive] Leonardo D’Andrea and I joined the 1 SOUND team/family with the task to develop the market in EMEA and APAC.
“My good friend Cuong from Sonos Libra Vietnam responded immediately to my call to discuss the partnership. I am honoured and delighted to work with them as a distributor, one of the key players in their nation. Their technical skills are very high and I am sure we will do a great job establishing the brand in the country. But this is just the beginning, we will announce new partnerships at the beginning of 2023, so stay tuned!”
