1 SOUND has announced the debut of the Contour CT212, a new horn-loaded three-way passive loudspeaker for a range of sound reinforcement applications, and it will be officially launched at the upcoming InfoComm 2023 show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando (booth 5669 and demo room W221A).

The Contour CT212 is stated to deliver maximum SPL of 145 dB, with a full sonic signature that’s designed to sound intimate at lower volumes. It combines two 12-inch low-frequency drivers and a coaxial 4-inch/2-inch mid-high compression driver in a horn-loaded point source enclosure providing controlled 100 x 50-degree dispersion that maintains constant directivity down to 200 Hz, with bass response down to 55 Hz.

The Finish birch plywood enclosure is IP55 rated and saltwater resistant, and it’s outfitted with eight M5 points and four M6 points. The magnetic front grille is removable. The cabinet measures 20.6 x 18.1 x 30.8 inches and weighs 91.8 pounds.
