1 SOUND Announces New Auralis Prediction & 3D Design Software

Designed to provide high-resolution color predictions of loudspeaker performance in three-dimensional spaces; will be highlighted at the upcoming 2024 ISE Show in Barcelona.

1 SOUND has announced the introduction of new Auralis 3D audio design and prediction software that is designed to provide high-resolution color predictions of loudspeaker performance in three-dimensional spaces, and it will be highighted at the upcoming 2024 ISE Show that begins in late January in Spain at the Fira de Barcelona – Gran Via at booth 7J420 (hall 7).

Auralis allows users to import 27 different types of files, including SketchUp (SKP) and AutoCAD (DXF) files, or to create their own three-dimensional space. Users can navigate their designs with fingertip free-rotation and organize them with named groups.

The software provides access to working accurately with all 1 SOUND loudspeakers and rigging hardware with measurement microphones. It also adjusts a system’s mechanical information with all of the company’s rigging accessories.

For example, a user can put together a system utilizing Tower Series loudspeakers and automatically splay for uniform coverage that provides a quick and accurate place to start the system optimization process. From there, the user can see 3D acoustical mapping, SPL predictions, and measure phase coherency and off-axis response.

Auralis will also generate customizable reports with design photos, notes, and all the applicable information to save time while providing a detailed report that is easy to read.
