USITT (United States Institute for Theatre Technology) and Wenger Corporation will be presenting a global conversation next week focusing on performing arts in this time of the pandemic, slated for Wednesday, July 15 starting at 9 am U.S. Eastern time. (Go here to register.)

David Grindle of USITT and Toby Smith of Wenger will lead the discussion about where the industry may be headed to function in and after the pandemic, talking with a global panel that includes Wan-Jung Wei, executive director of OISTAT, headquartered in Taipei, professor Duro Oni of the University of Lagos, Bolanle Austen-Peters of the Lagos State Committee on the Effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic on the Creative Industries, Dr. Gabrielle Hoegg, owner of HOAC Industries in Duisberg, and Juan Pablo Rozo of Arquitorium, a theatre architecture firm in Bogota.

All panelists will be live, so the hour is early for some in the United States; however, the conversation will be recorded, and posted and easily accessible, for those who can’t make it.

Again, go here to register.
