Cristin Livezey and Rebecca Haerter, both of Full Compass, were recently honored by Supply & Demand Chain Executive, a business technology publication, as 2021 Women in Supply Chain Award recipients.

“We couldn’t be prouder of the recognition Cris and Rebecca received from Supply & Demand Chain Executive,” says Dave Chaimson, COO, Full Compass Systems. “Over the past year, they played an instrumental approach in balancing inventory requirements with rapidly shifting demand. Their insights proved invaluable as we navigated our way through uncertainty with reliance on strong data and powerful forecasting tools.”

The distinction celebrates female supply chain leaders whose work defines the way women innovate new ways in a supply chain process. Livezey, who serves as Vice President of Finance & Supply Chain, and Haerter, the company’s Director of Supply Chain, were chosen for their inventive use of data analysis to inform their decision-making and helped coordinate the supply chain and finance departments to streamline performance.

“These women are absolutely amazing in so many ways,” states Marina Mayer, editor in chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “They’ve retooled, re-innovated, and revamped how the world sees the supply chain and logistics industry. They’ve paved the way for future supply chain leaders to become part of an industry that matters.”

In response to the considerable obstacles that the pandemic posed to the pro audio, video and lighting industries, Haerter and Livezey’s strategic approach and use of sophisticated software from John Galt Solutions allowed the company to stay committed and focused on their core customer segments. As a result, Full Compass was able to accelerate turns and reduce inventory throughout the pandemic, while maintaining its industry-leading customer service.

“Rebecca and I are honored to have been nominated by John Galt Solutions and humbled to have been chosen by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as recipients of the 2021 Women in Supply Chain award,” says Livezey. “We are fortunate to work for such a great company that has given us the autonomy to organize and manage a world-class supply chain department. That said, ‘we could not do what we do’ without the dedication of our team members that work tirelessly to ensure that we do everything in our power to have the right products at the right time to satisfy our customer needs.”
