The Worship Arts Technology Summit Announces Manufacturer Sponsorship

The three-day seminar is intended for beginners, advanced users, and everyone in between and this year includes a website design and social media among the topics.

The first of its kind training opportunity, the next Worship Arts Technology Summit (WATS) will be held September 13-15 in Muskegon, Michigan and is open to all church technicians, musicians and vocalists seeking the finest in-depth worship arts and technology training available in the areas of audio, musicianship, lighting, recording, and media presentation.

All skill levels are welcome as the training will be presented in structured technology tracks, allowing attendees to begin with the basics and build upon them with a series of increasingly advanced class offerings.

Sponsored by Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Yamaha Corporation of America, Shure, Elation Lighting, and Media Shout, this is not a one hour course or overview, but rather an in-depth, multi-day training opportunity offering hands on participation, focused teaching and certification in the areas of audio, lighting, media presentation and musicianship.

And, new this year, WATS has added Web design to the media track addressing the requests for website development and social networking from past attendees.

Attendees will spend three days immersed in the track of choice. One of the defining characteristics of the WATS experience is the amount of time spent with instructors…in class and out. They make themselves available to you from the moment everyone sits down for breakfast to the end of the day bonfire on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Bring four team members and receive a scholarship for a fifth. To register, visit the registration page.
